Mobile Synthetic ice rinks are the ideal attraction for any event, at any time of the year. They can be used in all weather conditions and are equally suited to indoor or outdoor use, subject to access.

The Rink: As Synthetic Mobile ice requires no plumbing, or heating system, it is really environmental friendly so great for all those who are passionate about skating but don’t want to see huge amounts of carbon emitted and excessive water used, which you unfortunately get when using “real” ice. In fact, all you need is a relatively flat surface, and the experienced staff at Ice Queen. You will also not have to worry if the weather is very mild, as the mobile rink surface does not have to be frozen.

Installation General: Our rinks are erected in sections, and once complete give a smooth flat surface – just like real ice..... The rinks will not come apart unlike the jigsaw slabs sometimes provided. Furthermore they do not need any complicated cooling system or cables.

Installation Time: You must allow a minimum of 2 hours for set up of the smallest size rink and the same for de rig.  Larger sizes may take a complete day to set up. Size 15x20 and above would not be erected for short term hire packages.

Safety Barriers: The barriers are fitted to the rink floor for maximum stability and safety and meet all necessary Health and Safety requirements.

A Greener alternative to “real” Ice:  For a real ice feel without the emissions of large freezer units or generators, and no expensive running costs.
