Ice Queen - Temporary Mobile  Synthetic Ice Rink Hire.

Terms for Customer Booking Ice Rink


AS A CONDITION OF BOOKING ACCEPTANCE THE CUSTOMER MUST AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

The customer confirms that they have full permission to site the rink as requested, and that any council permission, land owners permission, where necessary, has been granted.

That parking is available in close proximity to the site where the rink is to be set up, with no stairs on long walks, and if necessary any parking permits or security passes for our staff have been obtained in advance. 

That the venue is accessible and unencumbered both prior to agreed arrival and at departure times.

It will be assumed that all ice rinks will be sited at ground floor level, (either inside or outside). Whilst on occasions we may be able to access other areas, this must be agreed in advance, and will incur additional charges. If prior knowledge of locations or obstacles other than those specified are encountered on the day, it may not be possible to set up rink, and full hire charges will be incurred.

Customer must ensure that the area where it is intended for the rink is to be set up is flat and level, and if it has been agreed that the customer will provide sub surface of 18mm butted joint wooden base, that this is present on arrival and that no loose particles are present on such surfaces.  Ice Queen can provide boards, at additional cost if required. 

If crowd control barriers are required around the installation areas, they are to be supplied by the customer unless specified at the time of booking; This will be indicated on the booking confirmation. If control barrier is required to be supplied by Ice Queen, advance notice is required.

It will be assumed that there will be access to a 13 amp power supply, unless agreed in advance.

Generators will not be provided unless booked as an extra item.

If Banners are to be attached to the side of the rink, customer must agree to use existing holes only. No permanent fixing to the barriers can be carried out. Use of any sort of marker pens is strictly prohibited on any of the barriers. Advance notice for use of banners is required.

If any hours (including build & de-rig time) are during darkness customer will provide adequate lighting. Flood lighting can be hired from Ice Queen if required.

If it is the intention of customer to charge the public to use the rink they must provide the staff to collect the money and or tickets and to provide suitable poster displaying costs.

The hirer must provide persons to assist parents with skate change to required, as this service is not provided by Ice Queen.

The Hirer must note that no food, drinks or pets may be allowed on the rink at any time.

The Hirer must note that for Safety we will, not allow person intoxicated with alcohol to use the rink.

The Hirer must note that only boots supplied by Ice Queen, are to be used on the rink.

Long Term Hire

If the rink is located for more than 1 day duration, the customer is required to provide security outside operation hours. The Customer agrees to take full responsibility for any losses outside of operational hours and must have in place adequate insurance cover. All such costs will be borne entirely by the hirer. Copy certificate will be required.

Complaints:


In the extremely unlikely event of any complaint being made against Ice Queen the hirer agrees to make such complaint known at the time of hire, in order that every attempt may be made at rectifying any issues raised. We will then investigate using our internal investigations procedure and will report findings to hirer within a period of not more than 14 days.

Payment Terms

By paying a deposit the customer confirms that  they are entering into a legally binding agreement.

Deposits:

Within 7 days of booking date we require a 25% deposit which is in all circumstances non refundable.

The balance in cleared funds is due no later than 14 days before the event. Cancellation of less than 4 weeks prior to an event date will result in the full amount still becoming payable.

A transfer of date may in some instances be agreed, subject to availability.
